Volunteer Opportunities
High School sport provides a foundation for teens to learn the value of teamwork, overcoming adversity, healthy habits, exercise benefits and community. If you’ve coached before – amazing! If not, but you’ve played volleyball or basketball, we can train you.
Looking to dive into the heart of your community and meet great people? Volunteering at City of Enderby events is the perfect place to start. You’ll be on the front line bringing these vibrant, free events to life!

Position yourself right in the middle of the action for Enderby’s world-renowned, Canada Day long-weekend slo-pitch tournament. Four days. Forty teams. Anything can happen.

We make a difference in our community through creativity and our support of the arts for residents and visitors of all ages. We’re excited to continue growing the Enderby art scene with you.

This is where courage meets community. Fueled by adrenaline and pride, you are joining a team that runs toward the threat for the good of your family, friends and neighbours.

What could be more fulfilling than being hailed as a local historian? This is your chance to bring local history to life. Share stories, preserve the past, and be part of something that keeps Enderby’s heritage alive for future generations.

Over the course of a year, 1900 households benefit from our food bank. As a volunteer, you’re going to meet caring, community-minded people, while giving a helping hand to your neighbours.

If you are an older adult yourself or experiencing a major life transition, like loss of a spouse, newly retired, or grown children, then this is a wonderful opportunity to stay connected, reduce loneliness, and keep active.

Why Volunteer?
Make a Real Difference (Like, Right Here)
Your time has immediate impact – on neighbours, local programs, and the vibrancy of Enderby itself. Volunteering isn’t abstract; it’s visible, tangible, and deeply felt in your own community.
Meet Great Humans
Volunteering is one of the easiest ways to connect with people who care about the same things you do. Friendships form fast when you’re working side by side for a good cause.
Learn Something New (or Sharpen What You’ve Got)
From event planning to leadership to hands-on skills, volunteering lets you build experience in a low-pressure, high-reward environment. Bonus: it looks great on a resume.
Feel Good – Seriously
There’s a reason it’s called a “helper’s high.” Giving your time boosts mood, reduces stress, and leaves you with that warm, “I did something meaningful today” feeling.
Be Part of Something Bigger
Volunteering means shaping the place you live and contributing to something lasting.
