MedRides Enderby & District
MedRides provides transportation options for people in Enderby and area who have limited options for getting to medically required appointments. Volunteer drivers help clients get to appointments locally and, when needed, as far as Kamloops or Kelowna. This is one of many special programs provided by the Enderby & District Community Resource Centre
THE ROLE
- Drive clients safely to and from medically-required appointments
- Help people access essential medical care when transportation is a barrier
- Trips may be local or extend as far as Kamloops or Kelowna
- Use the MedRides vehicle, which is shared through the dispatcher, or use your own vehicle with mileage provided
- Make a meaningful difference with relatively simple, one-on-one support
- Help community members maintain access to important medical appointments and services
