A.L. Fortune Secondary is Enderby’s youth hub for sports, teamwork, and school pride. The school relies on volunteer coaches to offer volleyball and basketball for grades seven through 12. If you have any experience playing or coaching, we can help you and your team succeed this school year.
THE ROLE
- You will make a real impact on teens’ lives. Coaching isn’t just about sport, it’s about helping young people build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and life skills they carry well beyond the court.
- Seeing athletes develop, from learning the basics to achieving personal milestones is incredibly rewarding.
- Coaching creates lasting relationships with players, families, and fellow coaches, and gives you a sense of belonging while contributing to something bigger than yourself.
- Your travel to and from tournaments, plus accommodation are paid for.
- This is a seasonal position, and schedule is dependent on which sport you coach.
- Commitment is approximately 6 hours/week in season.
